06.05.09 - Grupo G's EspaƱa increases its capital and reorganises its legal and operational structures.


Grupo G's España, which is part of the British conglomerate The Shropshire Group, Europe's biggest vegetable producer, is completing a significant reorganization of its legal and organizational operations in Iberia, along with a capital increase of 5.5 million Euros.

Furthermore, the group has completed a satisfactory phase of repurchase of shares belonging to the minority shareholders of Pascual Hermanos, S.A. and has brought forward the creation of the first Organization of Fruit and Vegetables Producers in Europe, about which more details will be released next week.

Grupo G's España is the market leader in the production and marketing of a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables. Based in the regions of Murcia and Valencia, the company owns over 4,000 hectars of land and employs 4,000 people. It exports over 80% of its produce to European clients. The group's turnover in 2008 was around 120 million Euros.
