26.05.09 - Jet2.com celebrates 3 years flying out of Menorca
On the 26th of May 2006, the first flight operated by the lost-cost British airline Jet2.com landed in Menorca having set off from Leeds. Over the last 3 years the company has added another 4 destinations, transporting around 80,000 passengers on almost 400 flights to and from Mahón.

Those destinations are Leeds, Blackpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh and, starting from the 19th of June, the beautiful capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast. Each one is a city that offers an alternative and original trip at a great price, taking advantage of the euro's strength against the pound.
